About This Course

This series focuses on Embracing Your Identity with America Ferrera, an actor, director and activist. In 2018, she released “American Like Me,” an anthology of essays written by children of immigrants reflecting on lives between cultures. America opened the famed Women's March of January 2017, co-founded the organization Harness and was one of the establishing forces of Time’s Up. She was the co-organizer of the Letter of Solidarity to the U.S. Latinos following the mass shooting in El Paso, Texas and the immigration raid in Mississippi.
