Do you need help solving an issue with your course or Starbucks Global Academy experience? Below you will find common solutions and information on how to contact us for help.

Problems with viewing/downloading content:

Open edX supports the latest versions of Chrome and Firefox. As with all systems:

  • Update your web browsers often.
  • Clear your browser's cache/cookies regularly. Here are instructions on clearing your cache/cookies in Chrome and Firefox.
  • Check your browser settings to make sure JavaScript and cookies are enabled.
  • Be patient. Depending upon the speed of your Internet connection, download times may vary.

Problems with accessing your certificate:

Most Starbucks Global Academy courses award digital certificates of completion. In order to receive a certificate, you need to achieve a passing score on the graded course elements such as quizzes and Mark as Complete checkmarks. You can check your course completion status at the Progress section, towards the top of each course.


Once you achieve the passing score, your digital certificate will be automatically generated.


In a browser, it will be available via a green View Certificate button in the course Progress section and directly in your Dashboard underneath the View Course button.


In the mobile app, it will be available on the first page of the course. Click the button to view, download and print your certificate.


If you have just completed the course, please allow a few minutes for the certificate to be generated and added to your Dashboard.
